Ecologically Friendly Real Estate
Energy consumption is the major factor in global climate
change, and is responsible for more than one third of
the total carbon dioxide emissions.
In the common goal of reducing energy consumption, here
in INFOCASA we have developed corporate environmental
"culture", informing and encouraging our staff members,
partners and customers to participate actively.
Keeping "Reduce - Reuse - Recycle" in mind, we
strengthen electronic communication by reducing paper
from printing, by using both sides and then recycling
it.
We also carefully recycle all recyclable materials,
either from paper, plastic and printer toner cartridges,
to lamps, appliances and batteries.
We have replaced conventional light bulbs in all
offices, with their respective electronic efficient
lamps.
We have chosen air conditioning units in all our
offices, according to European Union environmental
criteria, such as heat and cooling capacity, noise and
impact on global warming (GWP). We have configured them
to provide a comfortable and pleasant temperature for
our employees and clients without costly excesses (too
cool in summer and too hot in winter), thereby, saving
up to 30%.
Our computers all have all of the words "Energy
efficient" and are in use only when they are required.
All other electrical devices we use are energy-Class A.
Ecological awareness and respect for the environment is
everyone's business. This way we create the harmony we
live in it.
